As we approach the Easter bank holiday weekend it is a crucial time in the battle against COVID-19.
As you will have probably seen through the media, the Department of Health and the Government are pleading that all people adhere to the strict guidelines around travel and staying at home particularly over the next few days .
We have been asked through the GAA and our local authority to reiterate this message in our local community. We have also been advised of the intense Garda operation now in place over the next few days which will be highly visible in our area.
It is indeed a very small sacrifice compared to the massive sacrifice our medical people, frontline workers and volunteers are doing for us in order to help protect us and get us through this, so please play your part and stay home and save lives! #stayhomeandsavelives
