Congratulations to our Minor Boys team, who have recorded their second win on the trot in Group 3 of the A Championship, with a ten point victory over Erin's Isle in Finglas this morning.

Both teams started the game brightly, trading points before Conor Hannigan played a loopy ball into the Erin's Isle square, which was miscleared and led to an own goal. This left the score at 0-2 to 1-3 after 15 minutes. No more than five minutes later, Ciarán McCullagh scored Ravens' second goal. The home side then went on a run of scoring another 4 points before a lovely bit of play led from Ravens led to Ciarán McCullagh netting his second and Ravens' third goal of the game, right before half time. The half-time score was 0-6 to 3-4 in favour of Ravens. The second half was a different story, with the Isle putting Ravens under immense pressure. However, Ravens showed that it wasn't just their attacking prowess that gave them such a lead, but also their ability to soak up pressure at the back. All of this hard work paid off in the end as Ravens won by ten points in an excellent display against a strong opposition.

The Minors' next match is away to Na Fianna on the 1st of October. MAN OF THE MATCH: Ciarán McCullagh.
